Terrifying Tunes

I adore the Pandora app on my phone.  My favorite station I have is Monster Mash radio.  I came across an eccentric artist: Screaming Lord Sutch.  I had never even heard of him until he was played on my Pandora.

There are a lot of videos of him on youtube but these two songs are probably my favorites.  I love music like this.  So much better than the majority out now.

The Lizzie Borden Bed and Breakfast

When I was in school our teacher had us write a paper about a famous crime and tell whether we agreed with the verdict or not and give reasons why or why not.  My friend and I chose Lizzie Borden.

In 1892 Lizzie Borden was accused of killing her father, Andrew, and stepmother, Abby, in her with a hatchet.  Lizzie and the maid were the only people in the house.  Lizzie was arrested a week later.  Her trial began June 1893 and she was aquitted on June 20, 1893.  After her trial Lizzie and her sister, Emma, lived in a new house until Emma moved in with a friend.  Lizzie died of pneunomia June 1, 1927. 

No one knows for certain what happened the hot August morning in 1892.  I think that Lizzie was guilty but did not act alone.  Andrew Borden was not a very liked man and had his share of enemies.  I believe that whoever worked with Lizzie actually did the dirty work.  That is why there wasn't any blood on Lizzie or her clothes.  She took the blame because they realized that it would be easier for her to get away with it.  That is just my theory to be thrown in with all the others out there but really no one will ever know.  Do you think she did it?

Now the house where Andrew and Abby Borden were killed is a bed and breakfast.  You can spend the night in Lizzie's room!  Fun!  If that is too much they give tours of the house everyday.  They have an online gift shop and a ghost cam.  The ghost cam requires a membership fee.  Has anyone ever been?
